Welcome to this weeks Contains Moderate Peril Podcast. We start off by looking at an excellent new documentary about the independent game scene. Called Indie Game: The Movie, it is one of best movies I’ve seen this year, providing a very interesting exploration of not only games creation but of artistic endeavours. Then from the good we turn our attention to the bad. Yes, we discuss SWTOR and its recent conversion to F2P. Its quite a radically different business model from other games and not exactly edifying. On a lighter note Brian and I come up with some helpful suggestions in our CMP Christmas gift guide. Contrary to what was said last week we have more Hobbit news, although its of a somewhat sad nature. Finally we consider the recent announcement that Update 9 for LOTRO will be tested on the Bullroarer test server from next week. What can we expect to find in the next update?
