As promised this is the bonus podcast to compensate listeners for the missing episode last week. One again I am joined by Contains Moderate Peril contributors, Brian and Lisa. In this additional show we look at some recent comments made by veteran actress Shirley MacLaine regarding Hollywood’s current output. We also discuss the recent announcements that Cities of Heroes is to be retired. Is any MMO now truly safe? Finally we prepare for the years final big movie releases and the start of the new TV season.

• Shirley MacLaine vs Hollywood: Veteran actress Shirley MacLaine is to join the cast of Downton Abbey. However Ms. MacLaine has some strong views about Hollywood’s current output and feels that it does not cater to the older audience. Is she right in her assertions? • Goodbye City of Heroes: The recent announcement that MMO City of Heroes is to be retired in November, came as a surprise to both players and industry pundits. Does this decision, irrespective of the fact that the game still has a viable player base, prove that it’s the bean counters that call the shots in the game industry? • Q4, the last of this years blockbusters and the new TV season: So what is everyone looking forward to in the next three months? Homeland season 2? More Person of Interest? Yet another movie with Chris Hemsworth? Not forgetting Dancing with the Stars and Strictly Come Dancing!  [Starts at 33:35]
