Contains Moderate Peril Episode 58: What’s My Catchphrase?

by

In this week’s Contains Moderate Peril podcast Brian and I continue to reflect on the recent Guild Wars 2 Beta Event, now that the proverbial dust has settled. We also rekindle are passion for LOTRO by rolling new alts and look ahead to what Update 7 will be bringing to the game. CMP is also happy to announce its participation in the Newbie Blogger Initiative.

  • Guild Wars 2 Beta Event: Did the recent beta test show us enough of Guild Wars 2? How near is the game to completion? Is there really going to be sufficient new material at launch or will this MMO suffer from that common affliction of player’s consuming content too quickly. [Starts at 01:39]
  • Update 7 Shades of the Past: The new skirmish included in Update 7, Storm on Mathedras, is a solid and challenging addition to those currently available. We consider the Fornost and Moria revamp and also discuss the addition of Star Lit Crystals to the LI process. Are they a boost, a grind or money grab? [Starts at 20:54]
  • Newbie Blogger Initiative: Contains Moderate Peril is very happy to be one of the sponsor blogs of this project. We extol the virtues of blogging and support Syp’s Newbie Blogger Initiative wholeheartedly. [Starts at 47:45]

The podcasts are intended to be broad in content and casual in their nature. They are fun to record and are intended to inform and amuse. All opinions offered are our own and do not reflect any official view held by the game developers or film studios whose products we discuss. There is some strong language used. Use the embedded media player below or alternatively the iTunes store.
